ASSEMBLY A COMPONENT WITH MULTIPLE PARTS

I have a push button ".step" file I imported here on Onshape. This file has 4 parts as shown in the image:

So far so good until I insert the file in the assembly:



I would like to know whether there is an option to insert the component itself and not the parts it is built from.

    An alternative solution is that you can use the Boolean feature to union all the parts. So the combined body in "Normal Part". When you use the composite feature you will get the composite part.

    Or create a sub-assembly, but in this case a composite part is most likely the best approach.
