As mentioned in the other post, you can create a pattern.
This example is tricky due to several issues, and the performance is very poor... But here you have it.

It's a cylinder to cylinder intersect patterned a million times.
I had a customer designing airplanes and wanted to show the revit holes in the airplane's skin. That killed the project. We changed the project strategy and figured out how to make this representation.
If you're playing around, good luck. If it's a real product, change your strategy.
I had another go at this and found that for now the fastest/most manageable solution is to first create a surface and then to turn it into a sheet.
Still requires some processing time but much better performance than the other options I have tried.
