Spindle Shoulders

A common lathe operation takes the stock from a square cross-section to a round cross-section.  The transition over a short distance leaves an arc on the flat face as the cut slopes into the stock.  My efforts to model the effect in Onshape using Revolve and Loft did not succeed.  Is there a method or Onshape tool useful in the purpose?  Thank you.

No loft required. Model it as you would machine it. Start with square stock then sketch the entire shape for the revolve (including the runout).

Thank you for your response, but I don't understand.  If I extrude from the sketch to the square stock and revolve the adjacent transition, Onshape circumscribes it as a bead within the square butt. (See attached).  What am I doing wrong?  Thank you.

Make the square part the whole length and use a revolve with "remove"
