I have created three parts in the part studio (Jobpart, Chuck, stock), I followed instructions as per the email sent and once I try to calculate, I get this error as per the attached image. I have also attached the Onshape link here for ease of troubleshooting. Can someone try to figure out why am getting this error?

Hi @Lewis_Maina_Muthoni. Looks like you might have remachining (cutting material that was left over from previous cutting operations) turned on in your toolpath. Since it's the first cutting operation in your list there's nothing to remachine. Can you open a support ticket (and share the doc with support) so the team can take a look?

We certainly can (and obviously need to) make that error message better. Keep the feedback coming!

    Hello Lewis,

Can you check the tool path and make sure that "Use Job Stock" in "Re-Machining" is enabled please?

    Thanks,
    Mike

@john_rousseau Re-machining is disabled. I have also shared this document with Onshape support

@michael_johnson686 I have disabled Re-machining because it's the first cutting operation in my list there's nothing to re-machine. If you enable it you must pick a previous operation (it's like a finishing operation after roughing).

I know this is an old post, and I don't believe it has anything to do with your bug, but I thought it worth mentioning for others that the drop-down can be changed from "Tool" to "Stock", and then a "Use Job Stock" option shows up that you can select to tell it to machine the job stock. It can change what the tool path will end up machining.
