How to connect two lines that are on different planes

I have two points I am trying to connect to fill in an area but the line I want to connect them I need it to curve vertically and horizontally if that makes any sense. Is there a way to do this?

the Fit Spline feature can connect two points with a line. If you need something more complex you can use my Freeform Spline feature to create controlled 3D curves.

dah! every time! For future reference you just have to change the enterprise (i.e. "ovyl") name to "cad" in the url, but here's that

@Evan_Reese do you know if there is a way to keep the points showing in the freeform spline because it would be nice to have other points to connect lines to

Easy to miss with so much going on in the feature, but look for the "keep points" checkbox.

@Evan_Reese I cannot find the closed points check box. Is it possible to show a picture of where it is located?

I see a blue dot next to your features, which indicates you're on an older version. You can right click them and update them. You should also right click the feature in your toolbar and update that too, so you're referencing the latest version. If you can't find it after that, let me know.

It looks like you might be using an older version of the freeform spline feature based on the blue update icon... I would suggest updating to the latest version.

Depending on what you want to do with the curves, the native Bridging curve may be easier to use.
