Onshape Aqquisition by PTC, future plans?

I am concerned about Onshape's acquisition by PTC, the software doesn't seem to be getting any worse and is improving remarkably after the acquisition. Is it written in stone anywhere that the original Onshape team get to keep developing it the way THEY want and PTC can't decide to nuke it into the ground if they so decide? PTC has a good history of ruining every software they touch and I am looking for some concrete evidence that it won't happen again.

@jonas_conner, this was a concern of mine originally as well. I'm not sure what all of their future plans are.
However, after 4 years of PTC and @jim_heppelmann586 boosting Onshape and handling with much care; even keeping Onshape's original staff including the creator of Onshape himself, I am convinced that PTC has been an amazing thing for Onshape and each of us users.
Here are a few things I've noticed, I'm sure there are more I have missed:
- Onshape needed rendering (PTC purchased and integrated Reality Server which is now Onshape's native Render Studio)
- Onshape needed CAM (PTC acquired and is integrating CloudMilling which is going to be Onshape's native CAM Studio)
- Onshape needed PLM (PTC acquired and integrated Arena Solutions, the industry's leading PLM solution)
- Apple announces their game changing platform Apple Vision Pro (Jim (PTC) reassures it will be supported). Btw, none of us will need computers or phones in a few years, the mouse and touch screen will be obsolete and slow
Not only have these big changes been made, but the improvement requests are still being implemented as well. We now have Variable Studio, Frames, Simulations, and many other great improvements. All this time, I still have access to the original Onshape staff and great support. In my opinion, Onshape is healthier than it has ever been and is headed in a great direction.
