Can I have unique names for assemblies and their mates that are created via circular pattern.

Hi,
I've got a couple of subassemblies stacked and connected via revolute mates into a "tower". I have no problem duplicating this aggregate assembly using Assembly Circular Pattern, resulting in a few towers. However, I've got the mates uniquely named in tower1 (dof_tower1_a, dof_tower1_b, ...), and would like to be able to find and rename the mates of the duplicated assemblies (dof_tower2_a, dof_tower3_a, ...). Is there a way to do this?
Thanks,
Bruce
