Im stumped... cannot figure out how to model these scolloped features

I've tried a dozen different approaches but I just can't seem to figure this one out.  Trying to model this object.  The axis of the scolloped features are oriented to a central point on the cube (see pic).  Looking for suggestions/examples on how to approach this!   Thanks in advance.

Maybe something like this? The spacing probably needs to be varied and obviously the relative size doesn't look quite right but that seems to produce the correct general shape, I think...

@eric_pesty ... Thanks Eric, this does give me another approach I hadn't thought of.  I'll give it try.

@S1mon ... That Feature Scrip does look great... it will get added to my FS library.

Your suggestion has gotten me "directionally correct" with the model.  Just need to keep fiddling and tweaking with the model I'll get it there.  Thanks again!
