Are there limitations for "thin extrusions"?

Hello, I have created a sketch that represents the z-fold of my very thin material (20um) with the final length of several meters long.  However, I have not been able to successfully extrude the entire sketch as a single part.  I have tried a sweep first, then "thin extrusion", but the result was the same.  In the end, I was able to create several extrusions and then "combining" all of the new parts into a Composite Part.  However, when I use the Composite Part in the Assembly, it shows as a "Parts Studio" and prevents from further configuring the assembly.  I must have over 100 features in the sketch, as the "curve/surface analysis" tool failed to analyze the whole sketch.
