Is this just a corporate decision? Or has the current financial climate made it not feasible?

It was a corporate decision to skip Onshape Live this year. In its place, we are investing in more in-person events. We have hosted meetups in Boston, New York, Munich, and Zurich in the last few months. We just had a tech meetup in Los Angeles this past week and have another meetup in Copenhagen planned in a few weeks. We are helping coordinate more user group meetings as well, both virtual and live. Finally, we plan to have a more prominent presence at PTC LiveWorx when it returns in 2025.
We have regularly quarterly update webinars and will continue to share the same level of detail regarding our upcoming plans. I think you will agree that the Onshape team has been very transparent about the larger projects we have been working on - and we will continue to do so.
Our pace of innovation continues, with significant updates every three weeks.
