Zero access to documents since recent update

in General
I have been unable to access any documents at all since the recent update to onshape. Every time I try to open a document, I get the infamous "Onshape is not connected. Refresh browser" message. I have ran the test and everything is green ticks, I have switched off Avast, still nothing. I have submitted a bug report, but based on the time frame of the last one I don't expect a response any time soon. Is this happening to others, or am I just very lucky?

i found that by adding onshape.com to the safe websites list I could access my documents without problem.
it would be useful if Onshape dev could determine what causes the problem so that users don’t have to worry about this.
Can confirm AVG AntiTrack was my issue — adding onshape.com to the allowed websites worked — also note that adding cad.onshape.com does not work — it must be onshape.com that is added
