I'm liking inserting rigid except for:
-configurations don't work in boms correctly
-you can't cut-n-paste them an assembly
-you can't use replicate from a linked instance, you have to suppress leveling foot and then insert and then position to get a mate connector.

-you only have to import once
-you have constant control over what's imported by suppressing things not wanted
-the import updates properly in higher objects (far less to maintain)
