Permanent Dimension Display

In the part studio, there is a function called 'show dimensions' from a sketch. This function can temporarily display the dimensions in grey on a 3D model. I am now wondering if it is possible to have a permanent dimension display. This would involve transferring the dimensions directly to the composite part and maintaining their display on the 3D model. 

Are there any existing feature scripts that can fulfill this functional need

    Thank you, I've made an improvement request. I noticed that many people have similar thoughts.
