Publication update error on drawing "Unable to update BOM. Duplicate tabs cannot be updated. "

I had a drawing I needed to update on a publication. I was getting this error"Unable to update BOM. Duplicate tabs cannot be updated." It was not clear to me what was happening but there was a duplicate of the drawing in the document tabs "in the publication" not in the original document it came from. I did not see it at first and was monkeying around in the actual file, not the publication trying to sort it out. Anyhow this is a PSA for those in the future might encounter this or if I run across it again and search the forum for the answer :)
