Flat Pattern not available for Derived Parts
I use the Insert "Flat pattern of Part x" feature of Sheet Metal parts to add a flat view to a Drawing.
I have many configuration inputs, and I use Derived Part to manage certain combinations of inputs, also for Drawings (see this thread).
However, when inserting from the Derived part, the parts are there, but not the "Flat patterns" of those parts.
It seems logical that it would be possible to add flat patterns from derived parts as well? Thanks!

is the flat pattern you're deriving still an active sheet metal part?
@jelte_steur814 no it's finished, but in neither case it's available.
Are you positive there is a flat pattern in the part studio in this configuration?
It looks like your "parts" section might be collapsed, have you tried clicking on the "> Parts" and see if it will expand down?
@eric_pesty yes positive, see below (that is "Parts" expanded, too many config variables to see..)
Also you see why I want to use the derived part in the drawing: I have 10+ configuration variables. In the derived part I made a configuration list with presets. If not, for 8 parts in a drawing I would need to update 100+ variables..
If there is another way to manage configuration inputs in drawings please let me know ;)
I found the (a) solution:
Now you can place flat patterns to Drawings from the Derived Part Studio!
No need to "finish" unless you are going to add some non-sheet metal features to it.
