Exploded view of Standard Content ?
If I have an assembly of parts that are fastened with Standard Content fasteners, is there a way to create an exploded view?
It seems like something very generally useful, but I can't find any way to do it.
It would be nice, for example, to create a drawing showing how the final pieces (parts and fasteners) are put together.
What I experience is that if I select, for example, a screw, the standard triad appears. I can then drag the triad but it always "snaps back" to where it was. The same thing happens if I select a part which is fastened by a SC fastener.
Also, each SC fastener has what looks like a Mate Connector. But unlike ordinary Mate Connectors, this kind cannot be edited.
Thx

Your comment suggested that it really should work.
So I poked around and finally figured out what was going on. It was just a bone-headed misunderstanding of Exploded View; I was just thrown off course by thinking it was a tricky Standard Content issue.
Thanks
