The document i was working on disappeared from my list of documents

I was trying to import an stl file into a document i was working using the "+" button on the bottom left corner, as the stl file didn't appear in my document then i went out of my document to check if i imported the stl file as another document in my account (which was the result of my action). But then. when i wanted to go into the document i was working on, i couldn't find it my list of documents.
I logged of and logged back in and the document didn't appear..
Please help! I was doing final touches before sending it to the iron workers to build it.
