How do I stop a revolution from colliding with a locking mechanism only when that mechanism is out.

So I was working on a moving game console in onshape and wanted it to flip open and close. So I wanted to make a locking mechanism and whenever the locking mechanism was on the base would ignore it and just keep going
everything I have tried won't stop this and I was wondering if there was a way to prevent something from moving only if something is blocking its way?

There is no collision detection in Onshape. There are more complex ways of adding dummy surfaces to control independent motions of multiple parts.
