I have a gear-like model and I want it to move with every contact. Gear relation is not giving the result I want.

Have you seen these postings for a new feature script. There is another sample for a Geneva mechanism with intermittent contact like you are looking at. Can't find it at the moment, You'll have to track it down.
This is what the feature script is for.
As noted above, Onshape does not do collision/contact detection. But you can fake it. The best example is Neil Cooke's latest FeatureScript magic.
