Can I animate the building of an assembly

Hello, I am new to Onshape and I am looking to see if it has a feature that I have used in Fusion 360. I would like to animate the building of an assembly from an exploded view to a completed assembly. A similar video in Inventor is linked here for what I am trying to do. Please advise.

    Hey @william_craig618,

There is currently no functionality to create animations and videos of them in Onshape.

Neil Cooke has just released a custom feature to animate multiple mate, showing a sequence of events: Animate - Custom Feature

You could combine that with a screen recording.

Alternatively, if this is not neccesarily about the video but about how to assemble something you could simply create your exploded view steps in your prefered order and share the document so someone else can go through it themselves: https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/exploded_views.htm

    Hope this helps. Cheers
