Help with Sweep

Chante_de_VilliersChante_de_Villiers Member Posts: 2

Hi, I'm new to Onshape and a little confused on how I can achieve the geometry of a bag. I've attached pictures of my process and the resultant sweep preview, which fails and says "result of sweep intersects itself". Any help would be appreciated!

Those curves are a good start. Maybe loft 1/4 of the bag? Do you mind sharing the doc?

Quick unrealistic way is like Matt said. change your sketches to be half the bag. Then loft 1/4 of it with a guide curve. mirror twice or polar array once with 4 instances. More realistic way with non symmetrical geometry a series of planes and sketches with surfacing tools.
