Quick way to get volume of a cavity?

Is these a quick way to get the volume of a cavity? Mass properties give me the volume of the part, not the cavity.
I was able to make a solid and then use cuts and subtractions to model my cavity and then use mass properties on this inverse mold, but is there an easier way?
