Remove sweep overflow
I have a helix on a cylinder and then sweeped (swept?) a profile to create a thread. How to remove the extra bit that sticks out? Does it have to be done manually or is there an option or trick to it? I have a test document here:

An option would be to apply a mate connector to the top and bottom flat surfaces and use those to Split the part. The split tool has options on which resulting parts of the original to keep. This does not result in a clean start or end to the thread. You may want to look into the Thread Creator. - Scotty
delete face?
Great! I couldn't figure out how to delete the face. Now I found a tool for it after you mentioned it.
Initially, I was thinking if sweep could be limited to the face or something.
