Hide Blue sketch rectangle feature

karel_workskarel_works Member Posts: 11

Hello,

I just wander why is there that blue rectangle with sketch name? it always somehow interference with actual sketch, is it somehow important? Maybe If I am not looking from "normal to plane" view to understand perspective. But most time it is very distracting. I tried to find any way to hide it, but I can't find any. So I would like sugest this as a feature. There could be another check box with "show sketch plane" or something like that:)

Thanks a lot ♥️

Karel

The blue square with the name is just showing you which plane the sketch is on. This is so that you have an idea of where the sketch will be if you are viewing in a 3d perspective instead of normal to the sketch. I'm not aware of any way to hide this other than zooming in for a moment but then it will update and pop back into the view.

Thank You Michael for answer, I also find this way, but it's not permanent. I can imagine that if I am looking on sketch from its normal than rectangle is diabled and when I orbit from different points of view rectangle appear to help me as you said. Or maybe it could be transparent.

It is not such a big deal, I can handle it, thank you:)
