in the assembly, the gear ratio doesn't seem to be working.

the gear ratio is the driving gear teeth divided by the driven gear teeth, right? my problem is that when i put in, say 0.5, it seems to take it as 5. any help appreciated! thank you!

Depends on the order you select the two revolute mates. It could be driving/driven or driven/driving. In your case, it could be 1/2 or 2/1. If your share your document, I'm sure someone will be able to check.
