2D Sketch Lag Issue – Unable to Sketch a Plant Layout

Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing a significant issue with Onshape that’s making it impossible to continue working on my project. I’m currently working on a simple 2D sketch of a plant layout, but the sketch lags so much that I can’t even draw anymore. It’s just a basic 2D layout – no assembly or complex features – but the performance is still extremely slow.
I’m using a free Onshape account, so I’m not sure if that could be affecting performance, but it seems like it should load much faster given how basic the sketch is. I’ve tried move it into a new file and clearing the cache, but nothing seems to improve the speed.

Sketches are supposed to be simple since each dimension/constraint is solving a lot of simultaneous equations. Break it into smaller sketches - one for the floor and columns, then one or more for everything else.
18 seconds just for a sketch… seems pretty extreme. might want to rethink your approach.
