What‘s new on iOS?

JeHJeH Member Posts: 10

I recently found out that Onshape introduced routing curves. That made me very happy! I am a most regular iOS Onshape user. Unfortunately, as it turns out. I open the app but routing curves are not in there. Also I could not find any release notes for the iOS or mobile app specifically. And no mention of iOS in any What’s New articles or regular release notes.

Did I totally miss something or is there really nothing like release notes or feature updates or roadmaps for the mobile app?

Side story:

I love Onshape! I probably use it for two or three years, mostly on a mid-size iPad, or even iPhone Mini, and I’m super happy with the features for my personal requirements and fun! (I have no profession in CAD)

I am also happy with the feature progression for the iOS app (event though it crashes a little more often in recent weeks ;P). I find new features here and there by accident, that give me great joy.
For example, the ability to add mate connectors on-the-fly was a breakthrough for my style of designing. Can’t wait to be able to also rotate these instant mate connectors, which I know is possible on web.

Anyways, it seems the more I use Onshape the more the requirements to myself and the app increase ;) Is there any kind of updated list of features for the iOS app?

And Thanks Onshape for providing this app for free! I enjoy the **** out of it! I love the challenge of CAD but also the possibilities in combination with a 3D printer. It’s the perfect hobby for a dad!
