How do I wrap on a non-cylinder without compromising sketch/design?

Hi! Another question for you all, I hope someone can help! I'm trying to model a bracelet and created and "arm mold" for me to "wrap" the design around. But unfortunately I can't seem to use the common non-cylindrical wrap tools that I've used before: projected curves and surface modeling. I know it's because the design is ever so slightly larger than the arm mold to not properly surface model and the projected curve tool has shrunk my design until it no longer looks the way I want it to. Is there an alternative that I'm missing?

Wrap currently only works on cylindrical or conical faces. It looks like your part is almost conical, here is an example of how to make it conical:

to piggy back on Michael's comment, you could make an extra conical surface to wrap on, then still subtract or whatever on your not-quite-cone shape.

to piggy back off of Evan's piggy back..! 😂 Specifically, do what Evan says except from the cone or cylinder, you can thicken the shape into the non conic shape, from there split the non conic shape with the thickened tool, then do what you need.
