Option to export bend lines as continuous lines in flat pattern DXF exports

Hi,

When exporting a flat pattern as a DXF in Onshape, bend lines are exported as dashed lines.
This means each bend line is broken into lots of small segments in the DXF file.

This causes a few problems, especially for laser cutting or engraving:

  • The DXF file ends up with way more entities, which can slow down or confuse some software.
  • On laser cutters, those dashed lines force the machine to make unnecessary stops and moves, which isn’t efficient.

What I’d like to see is an option to:

  • Export bend lines as solid, continuous lines,
  • Separate bend lines from cutting paths so they can be handled differently (like engraving),
  • Choose the line style (dashed, solid, etc.) before exporting.

That would make the DXF files cleaner and ready to use without extra work.

Thanks for considering this! 😄
