Issues with a surface that should be a part.

in General
I got a Step file from GrabCad that has a surface that should be a part and I can't figure out how to fix. I've tried thicken and enclose, but neither worked. I'm not great at CAD and really don't have the skills to remake this part. any help would be great.

use the fill surface tool to add the missing surfaces to the inside of the part and it will make it solid.
That did it. Didn't even know that tool existed. Thanks.
