Firefox crashing whon opening a project.

Hello,
I recently swithched to Linux and since then I experience Firefox crashing. I know there was a similar question, but deleting prefs.js didn't help either. I have no problems running Onshape in Chromium and the Khronos WebGL demos work perfectly fine, even in Firefox.
The  compatibility check gives the following log, if it helps:

{"coreWebGL":"Supported","is32BitIndicesAvailable":true,"isAnistropicAvailable":true,"isFloatTextureAvailable":true,"rendererInfo":{"glVendor":"unavailable","glRenderer":"unavailable"},"userAgent":"Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:44.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/44.0","browserSupported":false}

Is there anything I can do about it, because I'd really prefer to use Firefox?

    Please do not post crashes here in the forums since they are typically client related and require us to take a look closer at your situation.  Please use the ? menu -> Feedback to send in a ticket so we can look at the issue.  On the cad.onshape.com/check site, which of the checks failed?
