Filet only the corner

I am trying to fillet just the corner of this object, but no matter what I do, it fails to generate. The first screenshot shows just the lines that I do want to fillet.
If I reduce the value, some new lines appear (that I don't want). But with either value, nothing happens.
What should I try?

Try unchecking Tangent propagation?
Take a look at the Variable Fillet option in the Dialogue Box

thanks, i will play around with this. I am a total newbie so I didn't even click on this before.
