Loft "all guides should intersect with profile boundary

I am designing a boat hull, it has a smooth curve (created with a spline) at the bottom and a sharp corner at the top.

I want to loft between the 3 faces i have created but the two upper line to not intersect with the opposite far side, is there a way to resolve this?

as you can see some funky geometry going on at the top there, when it should just be two straight lines and a hard curve

It sounds like what you're trying to do could be done with two lofts.

    +1 to @Matt_Shields comment

The underlying reason is that any single guide curve must consist of G1 (tangent) connected edges
