Help using loft to join two irregular planes into one part

I am having a lot of trouble using loft to join these two parts in one 'continuous tube'. Any tips would be great, thanks!

the parts look symmetrical ..id split both surface down the center and try lofting the two halves. make bridging curves connecting each corner edge curve transition to use as loft guides.

Also, you can't loft regions with innner loops. Might have to loft a solid then a remove.
