Right-Click Problems with Firefox

alan_colealan_cole Member Posts: 1 EDU
When I right click inside the working window i get a Firefox related window as seen in the attached file.  The OnShape context window is directly behind this one making it difficult to select.  I have found if I hit "Select All" the Firefox related window disappears allowing me to use the OnShape window.  I also found if I hit the Windows Snippet tool to capture this issue the Firefox menu disappeared.  I am not sure if this is a OnShape or Firefox glitch.  Is there a way to turn of the Firefox context help?

Windows 7 machine
Firefox 41.0.22

Can you try on the current build of Firefox?  45 I believe is the current build.  42 was released in November.

I'm currently running into the same issue with onshape on Firefox. I'm using windows 10 and on the Firefox 47.0 build. Thanks!

Switch Firefox contextmenu on/off so that Onshape contextmenu is visible …

Type in the Firefox command line:  “about:config”.

    Search for: “dom.event.contextmenu.enabled”.

Switch the value from “false” to “true”.

Now the Onshape contextmenu is visible after RMB click.

Or workaround in Onshape: ALT + RMB or RMB then ESC.
