Chromebook for Complex Models?

I'd like to achieve superior modeling performance on complex models (large assemblies, many derived parts) with a portable device. I'm biased toward a Chromebook (fast startup, keyboard/mouse input) over tablets (don't want to use OS mobile), or a conventional laptop (don't need onboard apps, too expensive). I've found 2Gb RAM on a Chromebook to be unsatisfactory, 4Gb adequate. Dell offers an 8Gb Chromebook for a reasonable price. Anyone have experience with this device? Any insight on the anticipated benefit of more RAM? Thanks.

But I have to say this cheapish chromebook is amazingly good and a lot easier on-the-go than office pc..
I have Thinkpad x1 yoga (with integrated LTE connection) coming in soon, I will write some insight on Ons experience/performance after proper test drive..
