My assembly Z axis flipped?

Hi,

One day I opened my file and my assembly was flipped on the Z axis; everything is upside down.

In the part studios, things are still correct: when the side of the view cube labeled "top" faces up, the top of the model is facing up.

In the assembly view, if I select any part, the "Z" of the manipulator points "down", which is correct with respect to the orientation of the part, but while the "Z" of the manipulators is pointing down the side of the view cube labeled "top" is facing up.

This makes it difficult to work with apps from the app store, etc.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy, that is correct - the manipulator is relative to the coordinate system of the part you selected, but for CAM, 3D printing etc., the output from the assembly uses the csys axis from the view cube. If it is behaving otherwise, please log a ticket with support.
