Drawing to sketch

When I follow the help instructions to get a drawing into a sketch the dialogue showing drawings is empty even though I have a drawing in the document I am working in. Basically I can't get a drawing to use it as a face for a new part. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Tony, I assume you imported a DWG or DXF into your Document? If the imported drawing did NOT display in its own tab on import then it did not translate correctly and your list will be empty. You can't insert an Onshape created drawing into a sketch.
