How to see 2D geometry from import?

OpenR2OpenR2 OS Professional Posts: 188 ✭✭✭
import in 3D file that has 2D curve (tried both CATIA import and IGES import)
I see the curve in the part studio thumb but not in my actual working area?
How do I use the imported curve to drive a revolve?

thumb has curve....

document does not...

My first reaction is - 'what browser are you using?'.
For nothing to appear in the Feature List, that is either a very serious bug or an unsupported browser.
While Onshape does run on many different browsers, the following are officially supported; Chrome, FireFox, Safari.
If you are using a supported browser, please open a support ticket (and share the document with support).

I can't get curves to transfer either, no sketch entities. Using x_b.

I simply extrude them in sending system and bring the surfaces over. Then I use the edges from the surfaces.

    Hasn't bothered me,

This is true with sending curves and sketch entities, extrude them 1st.
