Importing graphics file

hal_barskyhal_barsky Member Posts: 1
I need to use a paper/pencil drawing I made as a template to create a  CAD drawing.  Is there a way to import a graphics file (JPEG//TIFF/GIF/BMP/PNG or PDF) then be able to trace the outer edges?

yes - import the image into your current Document (using the + menu bottom left), then create a sketch and use the import image command (under the import DXF button) - you can then add dimensions to the image rectangle to size it correct and sketch over the top

This works if you have DXF file not if you have a PNG file.
