Copy/paste (move) an assembly tab

I like to extract a specific part studio (a lamp) and the assembly in which only this part is assembled from a document and move it to a new document.
l succeeded with the part studio by copy/pasting it. However there is not such a Copy to clipboard in the RMB context menu with the assembly tab.

How can I move this assembly to the new document?

You need to make a copy of complete document and simply delete everything else.
Or copy part studio (as you mentioned you succeeded) and recreate assembly in that new doc.

I have requested for copy/paste/duplicate functions for assembly tab and I suppose there are also others with similar need. Maybe someday we will have also this function.

We can use one assembly from one document to other document by inserting that assembly as sub assembly.

    Narayan,

I know, but do not like to use an assembly in another document but move it.
The trick of 3dcad is a nice workaround I used successfully.
