Translucent parts

When a part is set to translucent in a part studio that needs to be persistent when it is added to an assembly. When I build a model engine and want to see what the pistons are doing in the cylinders I just want the cylinders and liners to be translucent and the rest of the engine to be solid colors. Need to set the percentage of translucent and keep part color.

Have you set the alpha on the parts in the Appearance editor? They should be persistent. .
