Don't think OS is good for me

Hi to all,
For many reasons OS does not seem to have the capacity unless I just don't know how to best use the platform.
When importing/inserting a dwg in a sketch the cad block is exploded...not good
I can't insert at specified workpoint since they all collapse on origin...strike two
Using transform combined with variables and formulas to relocate sketch does not adapt when variable is change...hum!
What I need and maybe someone can point me in the right direction is the following:
1) I have to be able to insert and reuse profile sketches (blocks) from a custom library on specific points located on a wire frame.
2) Many profile will be inserted on multiple views before they are extruded; those sketches must remain on point when wire frame dimension changes.
Simple enough but can't seem to achieve desired result.
