is there a way to put a string in UI and not be a parameter?
Im thinking of something like instruction to the user that I can include in UI.

kori Onshape Employees Posts: 25We don't currently provide a way to put a readonly string in the feature dialog. To display instructions, you could pop up a message bubble, per your post from earlier (https://forum.onshape.com/discussion/4981/message-output-in-fs). In general, we're trying to keep the feature dialogs as lean as possible. The dialogs can get long with just the editable parameters alone, so we're being very careful about what we add to it. If you have a specific use case that you're trying to solve, we'd like to know more details so we can consider it in our future planning.6

kori Onshape Employees Posts: 25I see - yes we currently will truncate that query list name rather than wrapping it, and we currently don't have a way to override that behavior. If you hover, the tooltip will show the entire instruction text with lines wrapped, so you can still see all of it, but it is a little more of a speed bump in the experience.5
