Nested Profiles

I'm wondering if it is not too hard for OS to automatically recognize nested profiles when extruding sketches (i.e. plate with holes in it.) Is this something that has been intentionally dismissed (and you must select the contour instead when extruding)?
I would like OS to be smarter about this and when nested profiles exist in the sketch, that the extrude, revolve feature understands this and give the user a predicted and reasonable solution automatically.

Yes Joe - SW does this right. It makes an automatic assumption but you can override this with contour select. Its the 80/20 rule.
