Animating rotational mates.

I have used a rotational mate for the first time on a simple arching metal form, pivoting in a recess on a part. I have changed the origin of the rotation but would like to have an end to the arc where the parts would stop in a real world mock up. Any tips?

We don't have collision detection / physical mate yet. In certain cases tangent mate can pretend such behavior..
