Modelize a screw or a bolt

Hi, I try to designe a kind of a screw and the interior of a nud but I was wondering if my technique good? If you have ideas it will be great!
I used first an helix on my cylinder and then I sketched a triangle and remove matter with a sweep that follow the helix, but as you can see, the end is bad and I had to change the diameter of my cylinder to make it stop at the middle of it.
For the interior, actually the other part where this one goes in, I did the same.

brucebartlett Member, OS Professional, Mentor, User Group Leader Posts: 2,141 PROCheck out this public doc, I've start building out a full set of bolts. I have Kinda put it on hold a bit till Onshape is rounded out a bit more eg. configuration could change things if implemented.
