Repeat parts in Assembly

Hello! Thought someone here might be able to shine a light on something I'm missing.
I'm putting together an assembly which uses multiples of the same part placed in differrent orientations.
(Think of a ladder with cylindrical legs and T-joint crossbars)
The verticle bar/ coupler use a cylindrical mate, and I can place them as needed BUT I am unaware of how to call out distances between parts or how to mirror/ replicate sections that may repeat. There are over 70 instances of the same 2 parts, so I'd like to save time where I can. Admittedly I do not use assemblies in this fashion often so I may just be missing something simple. Any suggestions appreciated!
