OK - I give up - is there anything new in the UI or is it all improvements in speed and behind the scenes stuff

Nothing new to the UI for the majority of our users.  There were some fixes for Professional users who were in specific payment states.  For our Free users and current active Professional users they shouldn't see any changes.

When new features are deployed, we normally change the second part of the four number version.  Changes to the third and fourth parts should indicate fixes.  Changes to the first number mean Onshape has become self-aware and is editing its own code.

So you're telling us that we are on version 1 of self aware now? :D

So if Onshape becomes self-aware how long before it decides it doesn't need us anymore and starts designing the world by itself?

My dream coming true in v2?

My dream cad would have all repeating things automated or semi-automated for creating/learning new slightly different automation for next similar task. Ending up with completely automated cad which can read your mind and models just appear on your account.

When Onshape becomes self-aware, it will presumably start by allocating version numbers to us

(and filing improvement requests .... at least, they'll START by looking like requests  ;-)

let's take this seriously. What do you mean by OS editing its own code? I'm very curious...
