How to make an assembly with rivets?

Hello,  I'm trying to model a part that is held together with rivets.  I'm fairly new to CAD but have done a few basic single parts so far, so maybe its just a CAD thing I haven't thought about yet.  However I'm a little stuck on where to even look for this piece.  I would appreciate any help someone can give me to figure out riveting parts together.

Thanks,

Ryan

Typically you model everything at mate it together without fasteners, then add fasteners in later (if necessary)

It's usually poor practice to mate objects together using fasteners as intermediate objects. You make your model dependent on high instance count (clutter) which can slow down your larger models / drawings.

Instead to mate to the most significant object first (The thing least likely to change or remove). Then snap your rivets in later using "replicate" to get most of the rivets in 1 click.

As far as the rivets themselves, you may have to draw them in a part studio, or find one in the app store libraries then import.
